Good practices

'Good Practices’ in the field of sustainability and regional production and consumption

Innovation….with a difference!

The word ‘innovation’ usually refers to technical innovations and
developments towards large-scale farming.

We want to show ‘alternative’ innovation, in the field of sustainability and biodiversity and regional production and consumption.
This may include preserving valuable practices developed in the past!

You may here find farmers experimenting with

  1. closer links between town and countryside in new alliances or cooperatives: community supported agriculture

  2. individual farms trying to produce sustainably and to reduce CO2 emissions (whether or not with customers in their own region)

  3. farmers trying out interesting crops or interesting experiments in sustainability and biodiversity

We show a delightful diversity that we would like to see promoted rather than the large-scale monocultures that are mainly being supported  fiscally and in other ways by the European governments and the EU policy.

Please send us your info about farms and initiatives that you are enthusiastic about!
